“ILABAS ‘NYO!” This is the booming call sounded for the return of two students, during a press conference held at the Teresa covered court, beside the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Sta. Mesa campus, today.

The ALLIANCE FOR NATIONALISM AND DEMOCRACY (ANAD) Partylist spearheaded the press conference to “push the alarm buttons” and to awaken the community against the unrelenting deception of helpless and innocent youthful students who were made to believe that the “exposure” with the rural folks was a noble task for the good and welfare of Filipinos.

ANAD Rep. Jun Alcover, strongly condemns the continued and unabated lies and deception perpetrated by the Maoist communists CPP-NPA-NDF where the sectoral front and pseudo partylist organizations, under Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN) and the Underground Mass Organization, all under  the command and control of the National United Front Commission of the CPP, is responsible in the disappearance of Albert Estrada, 19 yrs old, 1st year BS Journalism student; and Regina Obiso, 18 years old, 1st year BS Broadcast Communications student, both in the College of Communications of PUP. Albert and Regina were reportedly members of the PUP Kabataang Makabayan – Charlie del Rosario Chapter. Sources disclosed that Albert and Regina are both members of Anakbayan, a legal front organization of the NDF; and Makata, a cultural organization also of the NDF, all at PUP.

Mrs. Emily Estrada, mother of Albert; and Mrs. Bennic Obiso, mother of Regina, were present during the press conference. They disclosed that they have not seen their respective children since April 4 and April 5, 2009 respectively. In fact, during several verifications they made with several leaders of KM-Charlie del Rosario Chapter, they were met with a seemingly mocking response coupled with sarcastic facial expressions by those they have talked to.

“Albert and Regina’s disappearance only speaks of the devious and criminal minds set into motion by the leaders of the Maoist communist-terrorist organizations in the country,” said Alcover who challenged Bayan Chair Renato Reyes and Satur Ocampo to make good of their open profession in the protection of children and minors and their commitment against the use of child-warriors among the ranks of the NPA.

Pointing to Albert and Regina, as those that should be given immediate response by the self-acclaimed protectors of human rights and children’s welfare, “the two students are the present day victims of Maoist communist deceit and lies that must be given immediate attention by Karapatan, Bayan, Bayan Muna, Gabriela, and Kabataan. Desaparecidos and FIND must be involved in calling the NPA to release and return Albert and Regina,” Alcover said.

ANAD challenged these groups to shed all their prejudices and biases to save Albert and Regina, and others who were victims of Maoist communist deception.

“Their open declaration on this issue is most wanting. Nagbingi-bingian ang mga ito kung ang pinagusapan ay ang eksploytasyon at manipulasyon ng mga kabataan at menor de edad upang sumama sa hanay ng mga NPA!” said Alcover as he challenged Raymond Palatino of the Kabataan Partylist to come out with their stand on the use of children and minors by the Maoist communist NPAs. “Palatino must come out with a statement denouncing and condemning the Maoist communist CPP-NPA-NDF for the latter’s continued use and utter disregard of the international covenants on the protection of children and minors,” Alcover said.

ANAD is deeply saddened by the disappearance of Albert and Regina whose youthful idealism were exploited and abused by the Maoist communists. “I know that it would be hard for the two to leave the Godless and inhuman Maoist organization, if they do it by their own. But if the NPA leadership, through Satur Ocampo whom many believe is now the commander of the New Peoples Army, will act on this with expediency, then that would be better,” Alcover explained.

Threat vs US forces: A Maoist game plan

TRUE to their game plan of intimidating and active measures, viciously implemented by the Maoist communist New Peoples Army; and the active defense and political protective mantle cum people’s demand courtesy of the sectoral front and pseudo partylist organizations all under the complete control of the Maoist communist’s National Democratic Front, the Communist Party of the Philippines is up front creating a peculiar condition rife for a malicious and intentional propaganda scheme.

The Alliance for Nationalism and Democracy is not at all surprised to bear witness to the protestations and seeming unified call by Maoist communists’ sectoral front organization for the review, if not abrogation, of the Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) between the government and the United States of America.

Sometime, last month, Jorge Madlos, aka Oris, spokesman of the Maoist communist’s NDF in Mindanao, issued a strong warning against US forces in the country, particularly in Mindanao, that the latter would be included as targets of the NPA, if given the opportunity.

ANAD Partylist Rep. Pastor Alcover describes the recent development as not only a political bait but a premeditated scheme to draw the American Forces into the country’s internal insurgency conflict. “We are aware of the devious and malicious schemes that are in the arsenal of the Maoist communist-terrorist groups and all designed to advance their cause by sowing conflict and fanning the flames of violence among Filipinos,” said Alcover.

“Definitely, the communist-terrorist strongly oppose the presence of America forces in the country for they perceive the latter as a major obstacle vis-à-vis their obsession of 40 years now,” Alcover added.

On the issue of revisiting the VFA with the purpose of upholding the sovereignty and independence of our country, Alcover retorted saying that it is up to our leaders to make the move. “I believe that reviewing the VFA should be made in the context of strengthening our defense capabilities in the light of existing international agreements entered into by us,” Alcover explained.

“However, this must be a renegotiation above board, transparent, and fair and not simply due to the unbridled and malicious intentions long ago espoused by the Maoist communist demagogues,” Alcover stressed.

ANAD: Joma is “todo” hallucinating!

Joma Sison manifesting his hallucination of make-believe "maoist victory".

THE MAOIST messiah incessantly entertains his wildest dreams. This is how the ALLIANCE FOR NATIONALISM AND DEMOCRACY describes the recent statement of Maoist communist CPP founder Jose Ma. Sison where he “sees” the victory of their vicious and deceitful revolution against the government, in 10 years, with the latter having no choice but to talk peace with them. (posted in www.inquirer.net dated Sept. 14, 2009).

The pro-democracy alliance slammed Sison for indulging in a wild notion of victory that is an unequivocal manifestation of his hallucination and continued dwelling in his world of make-believe.

“We cannot understand why Sison, despite his travails and indiscretions, maintain a high level of hallucination,” said ANAD Partylist Rep. Jun Alcover even as he drew parallels from among the Maoist communist leading personalities, in the country. “Joma’s psychological state is no different from those being manifested by his peers in the sectoral front under Bayan and pseudo partylist organizations like Bayan Muna, Gabriela, Anakpawis, and Kabataan,” Alcover added.

ANAD is aware that this is all propaganda and psy-war by a self-proclaimed leader of a group about to self-destruct after being unmasked as being brutally devious and full of lies albeit the open profession as protectors of the people’s right and purveyors of what is best for the country and people.

Alcover stressed that Joma’s latest statement only clearly shows his worries and the bleak portents rushing-in to obliterate his cherished obsession. “He knows that he is on the edge of making an outright disservice to his venerable idol Mao Tse Tung and the leaders of the international communist organizations who provided him with adequate funds, in dollars, where the bulk is stashed in his personal vault to live a luxurious life in the Netherlands while trickles of it goes to fan the doomed Maoist communist insurgency here,” said Rep. Alcover.

“No wonder that the local Maoist communist’s revulsions against him are high and upbeat resulting to a split within their inhuman and violent organization,” Alcover opined.

On the other hand, ANAD expressed confidence that with an awakened Filipino community, the Maoist communist’s violence will be expunged in due time. “The Filipinos are already aware of the real intentions and character of the Maoist communist CPP-NPA-NDF and thus are ready to pull down and completely extinguish doomed communist revolution altogether. This is not farfetched nor is it just an idea. But telling signs are visible and the voices are audible in the nooks and corners of our country,” Alcover explained.

“Let me remind government to be in step and attuned to his peoples’ desire in restoring peace in our land,” said Alcover.

Maoist communists’ double-talk scored

September 14, 2009
Who are they that government should believe?

Who are they that government should believe?

“DEFINITE and as ever, the Maoist CPP-NPA-NDF is not sincere to reach out, much less seek the path, for peace in our country,” said ANAD Rep. Jun Alcover as he reiterated the pro-democracy’s stand that the olive branch of peace shall remain elusive, in the light of the Maoist CPP-NPA-NDF’s insincerity and “double talk.”

Reacting to last Friday’s (11Sept.) newspaper reports quoting Sec. Avelino Razon, Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process as saying that the prospects of  resuming the often stalled peace talks has become bleaker with the communist’s “double talk” and bringing forth immovable stumbling blocks that prevent the resumption of the peace talks, Rep Alcover said, “The Maoist communist’s deception is very clear. The ominous signs and manifestations expressed by their leaders undoubtedly carry the same line as ever before.”

The pro-democracy alliance of former Maoist communist rebels, family’s of the Maoist communist’s atrocities, and freedom loving Filipinos, strongly believe that the Maoist communists, covering a span of some 22 years of peace negotiations, are not committed and has never any intention to search and reestablish peace in our country.

ANAD believes that government must now reassess its options and positions. Looking forward to holding peace negotiations under a new administration (after the 2010 elections) is like playing and listening to the very same“old broken record” that the Maoist communist had parlayed since 22 years ago.

“Regardless of whoever holds the reins of governance, the Maoist communists’ track record very well shows that they do not intend to bring back peace to our land but to takeover the steering wheels of governance of the country,” Alcover pointed out.

He explained that the late President Corazon Aquino’s magnanimous act of releasing Joma Sison, Satur Ocampo, and others, from prison as a prelude towards restoring peace, fell flat on the ground with the Maoist communists’ skillfully and with design tried to turn the tables on government by seeking asylum in the Netherlands.

“The same holds true during the administrations of then Presidents Fidel Ramos, Joseph Estrada, and now sitting President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. One cannot expect honesty and sincerity from anyone who maintains that propensity towards lies and deceit,” Alcover stressed.

Alcover urged government leaders to, “come to our right senses and confront the Maoist communist malady through a no-nonsense and sustained campaign of education, counter-organization, and mobilization that would involve all sectors of the Filipino community, particularly the LGUs from the provincial down to the barangay levels,” Alcover said.

Call to turnover perpetrators of Toboso ambush: Deafening silence is loudest!

September 13, 2009

Ely Varela

TRUE to their vow of silence, the Maoist communist’s CPP-NPA-NDF refused to respond to the challenge raised by the ALLIANCE FOR NATIONALISM and DEMOCRACY (ANAD) Partylist to turnover their comrades who were responsible in the ambush-killing of 3 innocent civilians and the wounding of 3 others in the town of Toboso, Negros Occidental, last July 13.

Calls not only by ANAD but the residents of Toboso and the provincial government of Negros Occidental remained unheeded despite NDF-Negros spokesman Frank Fernandez and the head of the NPA’s Guerrilla Front’s admission of their personnel’s responsibility to the incident.

ANAD, through House Resolution No. 1367 filed before with the House of Representatives dated Sept. 1, issued a strong condemnation of that gory incident and called the CPP-NPA-NDF to turnover their men to the government even as it urged the Lower House and the members of the Maoist communist pseudo partylist groups, e.g. Bayan Muna, Gabriela, Anakpawis, and Kabataan to issue the same sentiment of denouncing and condemnation.

“With Fernandez and the alleged leader of the NPA’s guerrilla front’s admission they have shed all what is left of their “masks” and must turnover their men, perpetrators of that incident, to the government for appropriate judicial proceedings before the country’s courts of law,” said Alcover.

However, Alcover said that despite the several calls and challenges made, “the Maoist communists’ character show that they would pursue giving out deafening silence with the hope that the issue would die down and thrown to oblivion,” he added.

He expressed sadness to the fact that despite several urgings by the people, “pseudo partylist members of Bayan Muna and others had forsaken them by playing the same way as what their cohorts in the Maoist communist organization do – – silence,” Alcover said.

“One cannot expect something good to come out when all of these are displayed with malice and ill-will,” Alcover explained.

“Sincerity, transparency, and honesty is what the Maoist communist sordidly lacks as they continuously seek the destruction of our country’s democratic institutions and freedoms,” Alcover pointed out.

CPP-NPA-NDF to wreck Davao’s banana industry

TRUE TO their intentions and program, the Maoist communist CPP-NPA-NDF is serious to stall, if not totally wreck the banana producing industry in Southern Mindanao, particularly in Region 11.

ANAD-Mindanao spokesman Art Tariman reported that this came about when 50 heavily armed Maoist terrorists, from NPA Guerilla Front 27 led by Francisco Saramosing, aka Isko, stopped two prime mover-trucks owned and operated by private hauling contractors, ordered the drivers to leave their trucks, and burned 2 container vans of Stranfilco Banana Plantation, in Purok 11, Sitio Surigaonon, Bgy. Camanlangan New Bataan, Compostela Province, at about 7:45 am of August 29.

Later in the afternoon of the same day, members and officials of the Maragusan United Workers Union (MUWU), a local affiliate of the CPP-NPA-NDF front National Federation of Labor Unions-Kilusang Mayo Uno (NAFLU-KMU), distributed leaflets urging its members to oppose the Stanfilco plan to absorb and eventually regularize more than half of its banana growers’ workers, a scheme supported by the Maragusan LGU.

This warped Marxist perspective explains the recent doubled efforts of the CPP-NPA-NDF Southern Mindanao Regional Committee to sabotage the Stanfilco Banana Plantation in Maragusan town, Compostela Valley Province.

Contrary to the MUWU-NALFLU-KMU claim that the LGU backed Stanfilco regularization plan is“pure harassment,” “an unfair labor practice,” “a form of union busting” and “a ploy to revert the workers to contractualization”, the program seeks to provide security of tenure and stability of income among current banana growers in the area.

However, ANAD sources disclosed that the Maoist communist’s opposition stemmed from a possible loss of some Php 3 million in extorted money from growers, covering only the last quarter of 2009.  ANAD believes that the amount is an understatement when in truth and in fact, it could reach Php 20 million in just one quarter alone. “These will already include the extorted money from businesses, gold panners, telecommunication outfits, and other industries in the entire Southern Mindanao Regional Committee alone. This makes the region the so-called Jewel of the Maoist communist insurgency,” Alcover pointed out.

In view of the situation, ANAD Partylist urged the Stanfilco banana growers’ workers to emulate what the rank-and-file employees of Marsman Estate Plantation, Inc. (MEPI) in Sto. Tomas town, Davao del Norte have done when they rejected the NAFLU-KMU in a peaceful certification election sometime in June 2007; and the workers of DOLE Phillippines in Polomolok, South Cotabato who are hostaged by AMADO-KADENA-NAFLU-KMU, through the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement, but whose hearts and minds loudly rejects the communist labor front union.
