ANAD: Bayan must call on their comrades to lay down their arms

November 22, 2010

“Instead of constantly calling on government to dismantle all paramilitary units in the country, Maoist terrorist legal sectoral front and pseudo partylist groups must call on their comrades in the CPP-NPA-NDF to stop pestering the lives of hapless Filipinos so that peace could reign back in the country and make CAA forces and Civilian Volunteer Organizations irrelevant.”

ANAD Rep. Jun Alcover issued this statement as he urged these Maoist terrorist legal organizations and human rights groups, both local and international, not to give a “blind eye” to the reality that the Maoist terrorist New Peoples Army and the political operators of their legal sectoral front and pseudo partylist organizations are the one’s responsible in the so many deliberate transgressions against humanity.

“Maoist terrorist groups are fully aware that government was forced to establish paramilitary units, in the country, to protect our people from the menace committed by their comrades. Yet they twist these glaring fact and continue with their vicious and concocted propaganda against government,” Rep. Alcover pointed out.

CAFGUs and CVOs are stay-behind or terroritorial forces of government tasked  protect our people from the inhuman and violent forays by the Maoist terrorist NPA and NDF political officers, within their respective areas of operation.

Citing that paramilitary units are not permanent units or fixtures under the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) or the Philippine National Police (PNP), “Their existence and operation will immediately cease once the Maoist terrorist insurgency is over,” Rep. Alcover quipped.

Pointing to the widespread human rights violations against Filipinos, “Surely the Maoist terrorists reign supreme over all others. Not surprising is BAYAN’s silence on the NPA’s unabated violent and inhuman acts against helpless Filipinos. Reyes and his cabal of do-gooders will not dare offend their masters: Jose Ma. Sison, Fidel Agcaoili, Luis Jalandoni, and others in the CPP-NPA-NDF Central Committee,” he added.

He challenged Bayan Secretary-General Renato Reyes that if he really is for the protection and preservation of our people’s rights and the attainment of lasting peace, he must immediately call on his comrades in the CPP-NPA-NDF to contribute their share in alleviating the plight of our people. “Calling on his comrades to lay down their arms and put a stop to the insidious propaganda and name calling against government could be the best thing they can do for the country,” Rep. Alcover explained.

ANAD slam Bayan’s tirade against paramilitary units

November 18, 2010

“Very clear and without doubt, this shows Renato Reyes’ full adherence to Mao Tse Tung’s doctrine and teaching on how to wage an effective and surreptitious propaganda campaign against government!”

ANAD Partylist Rep. Jun Alcover issued this statement in reaction to Bagong Alyansa Makabayan’s call on government to dismantle all paramilitary units in the country.

“Despite their repeated denials on Maoist teachings and thoughts as the basic foundation of Maoist terrorist insurgency, in the country, they have now clearly shown full subservience to Mao’s doctrine – OPPOSE WHAT THE GOVERNMENT SUPPORT, AND SUPPORT WHAT THE GOVERNMENT OPPOSES,” said Rep. Alcover referring to the usual posturing and messages expressed by Maoist terrorist legal sectoral front and pseudo partylist groups, led by Bayan, during street protests and media campaigns against government.

“Indeed they resort to hate campaigns, using media, to paint a bad image against whoever is against them or is an obstacle to their plan. This is what they taught us and what we did in my 10 years with the Maoist terrorist underground, both in Eastern and Central Visayas, during the early 70’s,” Rep. Alcover pointed out.

He explained that the country’s paramilitary force, especially the Citizens Active Auxiliaries (CAA) or commonly known as CAFGUs, is an anti-insurgency terroritorial force that has been a bane to Maoist terrorists’ aspirations.

While admitting that there maybe isolated and minor incidents of human rights violations committed by some CAFGU personnel, “This must not be taken against the entire CAA organization. What these groups have positively accomplished in its mission against Maoist terrorism and other forms of criminality far outweighs these alleged isolated incidents,” he quipped.

Also, the ALLIANCE FOR NATIONALISM AND DEMOCRACY (ANAD) believes that government has already taken drastic and immediate measures, as a result to the 2009 Maguindanao massacre, to put an end to the use and exploitation of these groups by so-called political warlords.

“Instead of fanning the flames of hate and discontent, we should be forthright in extending full support and understanding to our government’s counter-insurgency drive against the wiliest, most deceptive, meanest, inhuman, and most violent Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF,” Rep. Alcover stressed.

“ANAD fully supports all investigation and legal moves designed to ferret out the truth on the programs and actions of CAA forces in the field. But it is most deplorable and highly condemnable if anyone, especially the skilled pretenders of self-righteousness and self-acclaimed pro-people advocates like Renato Reyes and comrades in the Maoist terrorist organizations, resort to black propaganda against government,” he added.

ANAD: Maoist terrorists must show equal sincerity and commitment towards peace

November 4, 2010

“It is not enough that manifestations of goodwill, sincerity and commitment are asked from and shown by government. More importantly, the Maoist terrorist Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) must show to the Filipino people the same by ordering their New People’s Army (NPA) to put an immediate cessation of hostilities, e.g. attacks against government facilities and installations, and extortion activities, in the guise of collecting alleged revolutionary taxes, from businesses and innocent Filipinos in the countryside.”

ANAD Rep. Jun Alcover issued this statement in reaction to recent developments saying further, “Asking government something to show sincerity and commitment towards peace without doing their own share of goodwill and confidence building measures is totally absurd and clearly speaks of their untrammeled deception and manipulation!

Rep. Alcover scoffed at the Maoist terrorist CPP for being over zealous to send National Democratic Front head Luis Jalandoni and his wife, Connie, both former priest and nun of the Roman Catholic Church respectively, to the country to make a courtesy call on President Noynoy Aquino.

“Why are they in a hurry to make that courtesy call? Sison’s group has been demanding too much from government but never has made even a manifestation of their sincerity and commitment to ensure the success of the peace talks!” clarified Rep. Alcover as he strongly condemned the continued attacks, harassments, extortions, and illegal activities perpetrated by the NPAs against hapless civilians and government facilities amidst the winds of reviving the often stalled peace talks blowing in the horizons.

Rep. Alcover is saddened that the Maoist terrorist CPP has incessantly accused government of human rights violations, “When in truth and in fact, the NPAs and the NDF has committed more than the number of these violations yet never admitted responsibility of the crimes they committed against humanity!”

On the issue of the Joint Agreement on Security and Immunity Guarantees (JASIG), Rep. Alcover described this as one-sided and has always put government on the receiving end. The former CPP-NPA political officer and commanding officer in Eastern and Central Visayas now turned staunch pro-democracy advocate said that indeed Maoist terrorists exhaustively used and abused JASIG to the hilt.

“The issuance of Safe Conduct Passes to their comrades and combatants, disguised as NDF consultants, has been abrasive. What happened is that JASIG has worked in favor of the Maoist terrorists as they were able to consolidate their forces and launched vicious attacks against government facilities and civilian soft-targets while the negotiations were going on,” explained.

On the other hand, Rep. Alcover is seriously entertaining doubts on the novelty and rationale behind NDFP Fidel Agcaoili’s invitation to GRP panel head Alex Padilla to a meeting in Hongkong, and describing Padilla and lawyer Pablito Sanidad, as “enlightened” members of the reconstituted GRP panel. “I smell something fishy in this!” Rep. Alcover said as he warned government of Jose Ma. Sison’s treachery against then President Cory Aquino after the latter released all of Marcos’ political detainees, including Sison.

“Days following his release from detention and after failing to get what he demanded from his benefactor, Pres. Cory, didn’t Joma and his ilk, particularly the spouses Jalandoni and Agcoili, surreptitiously leave the country then sought refuge and political asylum in Europe? From then on, Joma continued his Maoist terrorism activities against the constitutionally established and democratic government of the country,” he quipped.
