ANAD slams Maoist terrorist’s zarzuela of lies, lies, lies…

December 28, 2010

“The zarzuela of Maoist terrorist lies and contempt is clearly unfolding before 94 million Filipinos with the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF not getting their acts together amidst the Philippine government’s sincerity and commitment towards peace.”

These were the words of ANAD Partylist Rep. Jun Alcover as he reiterated ANAD’s word of caution to the government not to fall into Maoist terrorist saber-rattling and behind-the-scene arm twisting, all in the guise of peace.

Rep. Alcover made this statement in reaction to NDF-Mindanao Jorge Madlos’ statement, on the 42nd founding anniversary of the CPP last Dec. 26, that the NPA shall continue: a) their military offensive despite the truce and the peace negotiations, b) recruiting members for the NPA, and c) expanding its operational and base areas, in line with its 3-year target of attaining Strategic Stalemate with the government.

“How can you exact sincerity and wholesale commitment towards peace when one hand is foisting an M-16 rifle against government, while the other is busy twitting and rummaging the GRP panel into believing what they are saying,” said Rep. Alcover.

Rep. Alcover explained that the Madlos’ recent statement bears tacit approval by the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF Central Committee led by Jose Ma. Sison. “Yet, Sison and Jalandoni wanted the government of President Aquino to believe that their intention to revive the peace talks is pure and borne out of good intentions for the country and people!”  Rep. Alcover added.

“It’s the same old song played like a broken record but too obvious is the fact that the Maoist terrorists has shown its strong determination to partake in government activities under a coalition government. We should be wary about this and prevent the Nepal experience to happen in this country,” said Rep. Alcover.

“ANAD is certain that President Aquino’s warning and strong reminder to the Maoist terrorists not to use the ceasefire and the peace negotiations to recruit members, replenish their resources, and consolidate their forces, is all lip service and has now become a segment of a grandiose Maoist terrorist plan to topple down our government, freedom, and democratic institutions,” Rep. Alcover said as he reiterated his warning against falling into a Maoist terrorist political death trap.

“Our problem is that government has not learned or they don’t intent to learn from the more than 20 years of Maoist terrorist foreplay against government through the many failed peace negotiations, in the past. In fact, there are still some who entertain the notion that Jose Ma. Sison and his Maoist communism deacons could be convinced to end their armed struggle. They will always lie flat on their faces and in the receiving end gnashing their teeth in disbelief,” Rep. Alcover pointed out.

“With all of government’s fanfare, e.g. one-sided and biased expression of confidence building measures, and amidst the never–ending and despicable lies after lies by the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF, we should hold President Aquino’s administration answerable for any failure government may have, in the times ahead,” Rep. Alcover clarified.

Capinpin 5’s revelations: A fitting tribute to Maoism!

December 23, 2010

PRESS STATEMENT

The worms are out of the can. The macabre of untold murders seething for 42 years and probably more is now unraveled before the 94 million Filipinos.

Valentino Paulino, John Mark Barrientos, Eleanor Carandang, Cherylyn Tawagon, and Jenylyn Pizarro bravely tore down every thing that the Maoist terrorist Communist Party of the Philippines-New Peoples Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) had sanctimoniously kept secret and away from the preying eyes of millions of Filipinos, save for their deacons and alliances both, within and outside of the country.

The 5, whom freedom loving Filipinos admire for their bravery and courage, strongly and consistently stood firm when they described the Morong 43, including themselves, as NPA members undergoing surreptitious medical training inside a house owned by a certain Dr. Melecia Velmonte at E. de La Paz St., Sitio Mahangin, Barangay Maybangcal, Morong, Rizal.

From their Sworn Statements to the several interviews, both with media and some pro-democracy organizations, Paulino, Barrientos, Carandang, Tawagon, and Pizarro, strongly and effectively refuted all allegations of the 38 others who said they were not NPA members but rural health workers; that they were tortured by the military while in detention, and were subjected to human indignities, and others.

Tawagon and others’ saying, “Hindi too yan. . . .” rings loudly and did hit hardest against the irreverence and lies incessantly peddled by Maoist terrorist manipulators of public opinion, e.g. using mass media and coupled with harassment and intimidation against innocent Filipinos in the countryside.

The 5 remained firm not to leave camp, despite a court order freeing them, because they knew that their former comrades in the NPA are just lurking around and will get back at them, at any opportune time. This they did in the presence of Commissioner Jose Manuel Mamauag of the Commission on Human Rights, and Paulino’s same unwavering message to his mother Adoracion. All these were reported in national television (12-22-10). Their decision was affirmed by the CHR through Commissioner Mamauag’s statement.

ANAD Partylist does not question their release believed by many as not only borne out of a political prerogative and decision but covered with haste and utter disregard to the established rules of procedures and Supreme Court jurisprudence. What we are most interested is the credibility of the statements that were issued by the 38 and the surrogates of Maoist communism in this country. In other words, it is their allegations as against the firm conviction and earnest intentions of Paulino, Barrientos, Carandang, Tawagon, and Pizarro to reveal the truth and return to normal life.

The tears of Carandang, when interviewed by Karen Davila over ANC’s Headstart, fearing for her child that is being held by Karapatan to force her to go home, speaks clearly of Maoist terrorist’s insatiable appetite for violence and untold suffering for our people. ANAD calls on government to come up with contingencies and act expediently to protect all those, not only Carandang’s child, whose lives shall be threatened as a result of any NPA member’s decision to return to the folds of the law.

With this in the backdrop, all of the claims, statements, and protestations of Karapatan, Health Alliance for Democracy, Bagong Alyansa Makabayan, other Maoist terrorist sectoral front and pseudo partylist organizations, Attys. Romeo Capulong, Edre Olalia, Julius Matibag, Rachel Pastores, to include the Morong 38 (sic!) were completely demolished. Now it can be said – – – “Indeed they were lying to their teeth, with their hands stacked inside their mouth, and their pants down.” Their allegations have no legs to stand on!

The 42 years of Maoist terrorist manipulation is now exposed not by anyone but by their own comrades who mustered enough courage to tell it all! The unending lies that marked the CPP-NPA-NDF’s supposedly “rosy” revolution have met its untimely end. What a fitting tribute offered by Barrientos, Paulino, Carandang, Tawagon, and Pizarro to their former comrades who, on December 26, will both celebrate the birth anniversary of Maoist communism par excellence Mao Ze Dung and the 42 anniversary of the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF.

What happened now should be a lesson for all of us whose unquenching thirst for peace, freedom, and democracy remains high. Jose Ma. Sison, Luis Jalandoni, Satur Ocampo, and others must reconfigure their strategies and stance if they still intend to be relevant to Philippine society in the light of their greatest propaganda debacle in history.

ANAD extends our congratulations to the fiery 5 who insists in staying inside Camp Capinpin not only for their safety but to ensure their continued disavowals against Maoist terrorist demagoguery.

That lady is loudly crying wolf?

December 22, 2010

“Now she’s taking the same dose and bitter pill!”

This is the reaction of ANAD Partylist Rep. Jun Alcover to Justice Secretary Leila de Lima’s strong protest against the plea bargain deal between former AFP Maj. Gen. Carlos Garcia and the Ombudsman resulting in the former’s release from detention after posting Php 60,000.00 bail bond (12/20/2010,www.inquirer.net,www.abs-cbnnews.com, and www.gmanews.tv ).

Drawing comparisons between Garcia’s plunder and the Morong 43 cases, Rep. Alcover said that Sec. de Lima has lost moral ascendancy on the former and should not question the propriety of the Ombudsman’s decision on Garcia’s case even if it was done in haste, as what she alleges, because those were the same quick steps she made in filing the DOJ’s Motion to Withdraw Information on all criminal cases against the Morong 43 that  were then pending litigation with the Morong RTC Branch 78 and the Municipal Trial Court of Morong, Rizal; and whose arrest and detention were validated and settled as legal by a decision of the Court of Appeals.

Rep. Alcover chided Sec. de Lima for exercising ‘double standard’ on both cases saying, “Why is Sec. de Lima crying foul on the Ombudsman decision, when she herself was instrumental in the “record-speed” release of the Morong 43? She played both a judge and executioner when she unilaterally ordered the filing of the Motion which was flagrantly in violation of the National Prosecution Service’s Rules of Procedure and several jurisprudence of the Supreme Court on the same matter.”

Rep. Alcover reminded Sec. de Lima that as what happened to the Morong 43 where they were released by virtue of a court order, Garcia plea was acted and decided by the Sandiganbayan allowing Garcia to post bail for his temporary liberty.

“Isn’t she crying wolf now when just a few days earlier she was so tamed, like a sheep, wholly subservient to President Aquino III’s order on the Morong 43 cases?” the ANAD Rep. asked.

“Yet the end result are poles apart with Garcia still not off the hook on the plunder case while all of the Morong 43 personalities gained back their freedom and the cases against them thrown to the waste bins,” Rep. Alcover said.

A MANIFESTO: Despite our grief, we must stand united for country and people!

December 20, 2010

The deaths of Joven Cabe and the 10 soldiers of the 63rd Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army speaks only of one – – The inhuman and violent character of the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF.

Joven, a 9-year old boy, was a victim of a deliberately planned and treacherous attack by men and women whose sole desire is to be of service to the demonic masters in the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF. His young life was unceremoniously snapped by Maoist terrorist bullets because he was in a spot earmarked as a “kill zone” by Maoist terrorists.

He could have contributed much more than what he was able to do, in his life time. But he could still do best with him beside our Lord and Creator, for no one knows what plans He has for the young Joven.

The soldiers, namely: Sgt. Antonio Imperial; Corporal Rey Villagracia, both of Catbalogan City; Cpl. Richard Maximo of Aborlan, Palawan; Cpl Nathaniel Colima of Hernani, Eastern Samar; Cpl. Alan Rafinian and Private First Class Juanito Millagracia both of Catarman, Northern Samar; Pfc. Jarold Vergara of Lala, Lanao Del Norte; Pfc Nathaniel Mamerto of San Agustin, Surigao Del Sur; Pfc Jason Acala of Oras, Eastern Samar; and Pfc Roy Cascaño of Rosario, Northern Samar earned our respects and admiration.

They have shown to us what the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines are made of. Despite the  risks and perils they have to face, day in and day out, obligingly in the name of Peace and Reconciliation, they bravely went on and back to their base, in compliance to orders from higher headquarters of the Philippine Army.

The ALLIANCE FOR NATIONALISM AND DEMOCRACY (ANAD) Partylist views this incident with much sadness and grief as it clearly showed the treachery and violent end Joven and the soldiers were subjected to.

To Joven, we say: AMIDST OUR GRIEF, YOU HAVE NOT DIED IN VAIN. YOU ARE A BEACON OF HOPE THAT OTHERS, ESPECIALLY OUR YOUTH, SHALL EMULATE AND FOLLOW.

To the 10 soldiers:  YOU HAVE DIED A GLORIOUS DEATH FOR GOD AND COUNTRY. YOU ALL HAVE TRIUMPHED OVER EVIL. YOU HAVE OFFERED THE SUPREME SACRIFICE FOR US TO CONTINUE ENJOYING THE FRUITS OF FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY.

To the families: WE JOIN YOU IN PRAYERS AND PLEASE ACCEPT OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHIES AND CONDOLENCES. WE WILL BE ABLE TO HONOR YOUR DEPARTED LOVE ONES MORE IF WE TURN THAT SILENCE INTO A LOUD VOICE OF SUPPORT TO THEIR HEROISM!  AT THE SAME TIME, WE MUST MAKE THAT BOOMING SOUND OF CONDEMNATION AGAINST THE VIOLENT AND INHUMAN WAYS THAT HAS PERMEATED IN THE MAOIST TERRORIST CPP-NPA-NDF!

Let us be resolute and firm as we translate these things into actions as we must mobilize against the tyranny of Maoist communism!

Now is the time for us to make a stand for the sake of our children and our children’s children

We dare say:   THE SAMAR 1 + 10 DESERVES JUSTICE. THE TIME TO MOVE IS NOW!

Maoist terrorist’s unquenching appetite for lies, lies, lies… !

December 20, 2010

PRESS STATEMENT

“The Samar ambush by the New Peoples Army was an act of legitimate war. . . .” “The arrest of top CPP in Agusan del Sur is a violation of the truce. . . . . .”              So declared the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF in recent postings. (12/18/10, www.inquirer.net; www.gmanews.tv; and www.abs-cbnnews.com)

These are the sickening and inconsistent positions expressed by the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF on separate incidents: a) two days before the start of the ceasefire period, unilaterally declared by both the government and the Maoist terrorists, where a 9-year old boy and 10 soldiers were killed when ambushed in Northern Samar; and b) the arrest of Pedro Codaste, secretary of North Central Mindanao Regional Committee, CPP-NPA-NDF in Mindanao, last Dec 17 at a PNP checkpoint in Barangay Pili, Bayugan, Agusan del Sur, respectively.

Undeniably, recent statements by Marco Valbuena of the CPP Media Bureau, and NDF-Mindanao spokesman Jorge Madlos, aka Ka  Oris, are proofs of Maoist’s guile, malice, and lies, that always has been the hallmark of the Maoist terrorist  CPP-NPA-NDF’s real character.

It worthy pointing out clearly that:

  • In the Samar ambush, the military was not conducting offensive patrol, that should have given weight to terrorist’s assertion, but were packing things and on their way back to their base in Barangay Hibubulyao, Catubig, Northern Samar as ordered and in compliance to the ceasefire declaration;
  • Codaste was arrested in a legitimate PNP checkpoint established to prevent the flow of illegal firearms, drugs, and other criminal elements, and the policemen were enforcing a valid warrant of arrest for double murder and double frustrated murder issued by the Malaybalay City Regional Trial Court Branch 8 against him.

Contrary to their statements, Valbuena, Madlos, and CPP-NPA-NDF leadrship are caught “with their pants down” because the ambush was indeed premeditated and intentional with improvised explosive devices (IED) strategically planted along the soldiers’ path and detonated seconds before “hell broke loose”. This is pure and blatant treachery to exact revenge on the government after suffering several serious defeats to the forces of government as shown in the number of NPA camps that were over run by the forces of the 8th ID, PA.

More importantly, highly outrageous, and despicable is the wasting of 9-year old Joven Cabe’s life! Valbuena and his ilk, in the Eastern Visayas Regional Committee, CPP-NPA-NDF are expectedly silent on Cabe’s murder. Reliable sources told us that Santiago Salas’ cabal of unGodly believers are sending veiled threats to the family and relatives of Joven to keep their silence, amidst their grief, or else they would suffer the same fate as Joven did!

Surely, the arrest of Codaste did not violate any truce or the unilateral declaration of the ceasefire by both the government and the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF. Clearly, the ceasefire covers only offensive operations by government forces against Maoist terrorist, either singly or in mass. It does not cover law enforcement such as the warrant of arrest against Codaste. Law enforcement and offensive operations are far different from each other and are not among the terms and conditions under the 19-day unilateral ceasefire declaration by both the government and Maoist terrorists.

However, for the Maoist terrorists, ceasefire declaration are mere lip service which normally means . . . always fire!” and skillfully used to consolidate the forces and replenish the supplies and resources of the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF!

Also, Madlos should know that there was no formal document, denoting any ceasefire agreement, signed by both the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF and the government. It was a unilateral declaration both sides, e.g. Maoist terrorists, and the government, as a gesture of goodwill in deference to the yuletide season which ANAD believes is wholly observed by Maoist terrorists. Yet they exploit and manipulate Christian churches and church workers to advance their inhuman and violent revolution!

Valbuena and Madlos only open their mouths and let their hands work on the pen, while at the same time manipulating their stooges in the propaganda mill, to twist the truth and facts to favor their despicable Maoist terrorist revolution (sic!) that only are entertained by people with sick minds!

They should now stop dishing out inconsequential lies and issuing statements that are full of vile and deceit.

Sad is the fact that even our government has bitten the bullet, so to speak. They opened the door so much despite the intransigence and bullying character displayed by the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF. Indeed, all these at the expense of our country’s freedom and democratic well-being!

Release of Morong 43: A victory for Maoism!

December 19, 2010

A big and decisive victory for Maoism in this country! This aptly describes the court order freeing the Morong 43 from detention. Despite being acknowledged by 5 of the 43 arrested at a house in Barangay Maybangcal, Morong, Rizal as NPA members, the 38 stood pat and claimed that they are mere health workers (sic!).

“Unprecedented is the speed by which the Department of Justice and the Morong RTC Branch 78 threw out all of the criminal cases against the 43 personalities whom John Mark Barrientos, Valentino Paulino, Eleanor Carandang, Cherylyn Tawagon, and Jennylyn Pizarro, in an affidavit submitted to the court, admitted as NPA medics, like them,” said ANAD Partylist Rep. Jun Alcover.

“What is surprising is the fact that despite several Supreme Court jurisprudence on the filing of Motion to Withdraw Information that should have been complied, the court set this aside and went ahead to free them, in record time. It turned out to be Moro-Moro 38,” said Rep. Alcover.

“As a result, surely we will see these people again in the mountains and in the streets hitting at government and worming their way to destroy the very fibers of our country’s democracy and freedom,” Rep. Alcover pointed out.

ANAD Partylist learned that the Morong RTC order was met with mixed reactions by Barrientos, Paulino, Carandang, Tawagon, and Pizarro. “They were happy when they learned that the court ordered their release, yet they chose to stay inside the military camp for fear of being murdered by their former NPA comrades,” Rep. Alcover said.

“I challenge President Aquino III and DOJ Secretary Leila de Lima to make sure that the 38 will not go back to their Maoist communist revolutionary life, and ensure that the lives of Barrientos, Paulino, Carandang, Tawagon, and Pizarro are secured. It is up to them how to go about it. In time, the Filipino people will hold President Aquino III and DOJ Sec. de Lima responsible and answerable for their acts,” he clarified.

Rep. Alcover disclosed that he will file a resolution in Congress calling for a Congressional inquiry, in aid of legislation, on the Morong 43 case. “We just want to make things clear and assured that the rule of law and our country’s judicial system is upheld by all, including the 3 pillars of our democratic institution,” he explained.

“Understandably, the release from detention of the Morong 43 is viewed by many as a gift of the Philippine government to the Maoist terrorist organization who shall be celebrating the birth anniversary of Maoist communism par excellence Mao Ze Dung and the 42nd founding anniversary of the Maoist terrorist Communist Party of the Philippines on the same day, December 26,” Rep. Alcover pointed out.
